This episode Dane talks with Curtis Smith, author of the outstanding essay collection, Communion.  Smith has published several books, all of them wonderful. Opening monologue: An essay about lock horn, written by Dane, when bull elk, bucks, etc., become stuck to each other and eventually die. Act one: Dane and Curtis talk about Pennsylvania, music, teaching, and the differences/challenges of writing narrative nonfiction as opposed to fiction. The intermission features one their favorite songs by the Stones. Act two: Smith reads a short essay from Communion. Enjoy!
